We believe in doing business the right way — no fine print tricks, no surprises. Here's how we work together so everyone's on the same page.
Over time, exterior surfaces naturally wear down. Sometimes cleaning can reveal issues that were already there but hidden under layers of dirt, algae, or grime — things like peeling paint, loose siding, aging caulk, or softening wood. If a surface was already in rough shape before we arrived, we can't be held responsible for those pre-existing conditions.
Exterior cleaning is highly effective, but it does carry some inherent risks. Occasionally, cosmetic changes like paint lifting after algae removal can happen during a normal, properly performed cleaning. We always use the right pressure and technique for each surface to minimize this.
In the unlikely event something does go wrong on our end, our responsibility is limited to the cost of the service we performed. Please let us know about any concerns within 3 days of your service so we can make it right while everything is still fresh.
We just need a few things from you before we arrive: please make sure we have access to an outdoor water spigot that's turned on and easy to reach.
To protect your belongings and help us do the best job possible, we ask that you move vehicles, patio furniture, grills, planters, and any fragile or valuable items away from the areas we'll be cleaning before our crew arrives.
If we can't reach a certain area because of obstructions or locked gates, we may not be able to clean it — but your price stays the same since we've reserved the time and crew for your job.
For safety, please keep pets indoors during the service. After softwash treatments, we recommend keeping pets and kids off treated surfaces for about 24 hours while the solution fully breaks down.
Life happens — if you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours notice and there's no charge at all.
Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may include a small fee — up to $75 for residential or $150 for commercial — since our crew and equipment are already committed to your time slot.
If our team arrives and can't access the property or perform the work, a trip fee may apply to cover the crew's time.
Rain or bad weather? No worries. We'll reschedule at no charge — that's on us, not you.
Payment is due when the job is complete. If you won't be home, we can arrange payment in advance — just let us know.
We accept cash, check, credit card, and electronic payments. A small processing fee may apply for credit card transactions.
If a balance goes unpaid, a late fee of 1.5% per month may be applied. We'd much rather work things out directly — just give us a call if you need to discuss your bill.
The price we quote is based on what you tell us and what we can see. If we get on-site and discover heavier staining, a larger area, or something unexpected, we'll talk to you before doing any additional work — no surprises.
Our softwash process uses biodegradable cleaning agents that are tough on grime but designed to be safe for the environment. Before every job, we pre-rinse your plants and landscaping, and we rinse everything thoroughly when we're done.
While we take every precaution, exterior cleaning involves water and cleaning solutions near your landscaping — and in rare cases, some plants may be affected despite our best efforts.
Any residue left on treated surfaces is temporary and will fade naturally with normal weather exposure.
We love showing off great results! By scheduling service with us, you're giving us the okay to take before-and-after photos of the exterior of your property. We may use these on our website, social media, or marketing materials.
We'll never photograph the inside of your home, and if you'd prefer we don't take photos at all, just let us know before your service date and we'll respect that completely.
By hiring us, you agree to hold Bub's Pressure Washing & Softwashing harmless from claims related to pre-existing property conditions or issues outside of our control. Of course, if we make a mistake through genuine negligence, we stand behind our work and will make it right.
By requesting service, you confirm that you're either the property owner or have been authorized by the owner to schedule the work.
Sometimes things outside our control — severe weather, equipment issues, supply shortages — can cause delays. We'll always communicate with you and get rescheduled as quickly as possible at no extra cost.
